The knowledge of the ways of God and the thoughts of God concerning us
I've been trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle for some time now without having the
main picture and its been taking me over an hour now . You can imagine my frustration
maybe if I had an idea of what the picture looks like I might be able to put it together.
You might be wondering why would I waste my time putting together a jigsaw puzzle without
having a picture to guide me ?How very funny and surprising for you to ask me that.
You see most times that is what we do.we try to understand our lives without actually knowing
the real picture of what our life is all about and when we cant understand the direction our life is
taking, we become frustrated. Why do you become frustrated?because you are trying to
put together something that you have absolutely no idea about.
HOW CAN WE DESCRIBE OUR LIFE?
Our life is like a jigsaw puzzle I just mentioned above. How many seasons of our
lives are good some seasons are bad some seasons are extremely ugly.
what time we don't really have an idea why we are going through such Seasons.
and sometimes because we do not understand, especially if you have been working with
God easy to fall into frustration or depression.But I thank God you're reading this today
.Because I want to remind you and myself about the scripture in Isaiah 55 vs 8 that says
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord..
as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my
thoughts than your thoughts”
if God says that your ways are far above his ways ,
there is no way we can fully comprehend the directions of our lives without understanding
the ways of God who created us. any manufacturer that creates any products,
has a reason and a purpose specific to that product.
we are God's products and for us to understand and know
no the directions of our life, we must first ask GOD our manufacturer.

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WAYS CAN SAVE YOU FROM QUIET FRUSTRATIONS
A pregnant woman always has 3 months of sickness, vomiting headache Waist pain
and what have you. but despite all these discomfort, She never aborts a child.
She does not do this because she knows that in 9 months all the
discomfort will be forgotten when she sees her baby.We can also have
this mentality when we have the knowledge and understanding
when we're going through certain unexplainable seasons in our lives..
Some seasons of our lives a short. some Seasons along some
other seasons are frustrating me very long. but if we can only understand how
God is going to bring together all these seasons to form a greater picture of our lives ,
then there is NO WAY we can become frustrated.
and what have you. but despite all these discomfort, She never aborts a child.

HOW CAN WE KNOW GOD'S WAYS AND THOUGHTS CONCERNING US:
The book of John 15:2 says “ I am the true Vine and my father is the
vine dresser every branch in me that does not bear fruit he cuts away
and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes , that it may become
even more fruitful.”

The question now is how would you know that what you're going through is actually
God PRUNING YOU and PREPARING YOU to bear more fruits for him?

The only way to know this is to know the thoughts of God concerning you particularly
. How then can you know the thoughts of God concerning you? very simple,
ask God to let you know His thoughts.

Many times we spent most of our time of prayer asking God for his power rather
than asking him FOR HIS THOUGHTS which is much more important in our daily work
with Christ

WHY SHOULD YOU KNOW GODS WAYS AND THOUGHTS
it's because between the time He shows you and the time it becomes a reality is a period of space
, Period is the time of preparation for the picture that he has already shown you. And the period
of preparation will last as long as it takes for you to be prepared for the work He wants to use you
