Contrary to popular believe, the hole of loneliness in most people is not a person -sized hole .This can be confirmed by many a married person who wakes up on any given morning and gazes at their mate while thinking ,You are not making me happy.Certainly this can be a disappointing revelation if the perception was that marriage was the answer to the joy factor.In fact immediately you say the "I do",and begin the routine processes of married life ,after sometime you will begin to ask yourself "there must be more to life than this"you might even begin to feel guilty at the thought because after all you should be happy with this person and this state of marriage that you longed for when you were single.The simple truth of the matter is that HAVING A PARTNER WITHOUT KNOWING OR LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE FIRST IS EQUAL TO AN EMPTY LIFE.
The void that nags us most is the vast chasm that waits to be filled with our purpose,our calling ,the reason we were created.Before Adam received a mate, God gave him a purpose to take charge of the garden,to tend it and also to give names to every animal in the garden.It was after Adam set about fulfilling his assignment that God decided that he needed help.If you are not busy fulfilling the purpose for which you were created ,why do you need a partner?So how do we get God to decide it's time to add the dimension of partnership to our lives?By fulfilling the first requirement ---our purpose,being fruitful in it and using our gifts to bless others and touching the lives of people around us .
Some of you reading this may begin to ask yourselves what your purpose really is or what your gift really is .Your gift is that thing that every one celebrates about you though you may take it for granted.The reason it is no big deal to you is because it flows naturally to you .It is inherent in your nature to be creative,good with children,given to hospitality, effective counselor ,etc.Whatever it is, God wants you to use it. so that in the process of using it,you will prosper, not just materially but emotionally and spiritually.You will be filled with the satisfaction of knowing that you are living a life that matters to God ,others, and yourself.
True life really begins with you living your life with purpose.
